180DC x EY-Parthenon Case Competition

180DC’s annual case competition in collaboration with EY-Parthenon brings together UCLA’s brightest minds to discover innovative solutions for real-world business problems. If you’re someone who’s passionate in impact-driven business, this unparalleled opportunity will allow you to: 

  • Gain valuable insight on sustainable-focused business challenges through a hands-on approach. 

  • Develop and showcase your market assessment skills through a real-world corporate mergers & acquisitions case. 

  • Pitch your ideas to a panel of distinguished judges working at EY-Parthenon, and network and engage with industry professionals and like-minded students. 

  • Enhance business acumen, critical thinking skills, and teamwork through experiential learning. 


Whether you have prior business experience or not, 180DC welcomes people from all backgrounds to participate in this case competition. Prizes will be awarded to winners, with the 1st place team receiving exclusive coffee chats with EY-Parthenon practitioners in the Spring along with merch!

In the 2022-23 school year, circumstances did not allow for this annual case competition to occur.  

How It Works:

Participants can sign up in groups of 4-5 UCLA students or individually. Individual members will have opportunities to join an incomplete team on kick off day.

Who is allowed to join this competition?

All undergraduate UCLA students are welcomed to join this case competition!

I don’t have any consulting experience or business background. Can I still compete in the case competition?

Of course! We encourage anyone interested in consulting to participate in this case competition. Regardless of whether you have prior consulting knowledge or not, this opportunity will be a great learning experience for you!

How can I find and get to know my teammates if I am matched with a team?

If you choose to sign up individually, 180DC will assign you with other members and provide 48 hours for you to meet and confirm your group. Within those 48 hours, you will also have the ability to request a group switch. Afterwards, we will finalize the teammates within each group!
